Adidas Unveils New Away Kit "COLORS"
On March 20, adidas revealed the Japan national team's 2026 WC away kit.
Concept: "COLORS"
Following the home kit's concept "HORIZON," the away kit is built around the concept of "COLORS." The design features an off-white body evoking a blank canvas, adorned with 11 stripes in a total of 11 colors, including blue, orange, and green.
A red stripe sits at the center, symbolizing Japan's football family. The 11 stripes express "imperfect beauty" through a design in which each stripe is deliberately incomplete. Individually imperfect, yet when each distinct personality overlaps and comes together as one, a powerful brilliance is born — that is the vision of the team this kit embodies.
Design Features
- Emblem: Monochrome for the first time ever, prioritizing harmony with the overall color scheme.
- Logo: The adidas Trefoil logo makes its return for the first time in 30 years since 1995.
- Material: Climacool+ technology for superior breathability and comfort.

March 29: Scotland Showdown
An important test match in the lead-up to WC 2026 is on the horizon. A friendly against Scotland will be played on Saturday, March 29, at Hampden Park (Glasgow).
